------------------------------------------------------------
AvaiList now deletes old output files =after= the compile,
instead of before. Therefore, your output listing should
no longer show the archives as "OFFLINE" and the raw files
as 0-length, as was the case in the past.
AvaiList now supports the Opus 1.10, Maximus, RemoteAccess
and QuickBBS areas data files to obtain paths and area
descriptions. Note that any area that has an associated
'baricade' file will be ignored.
Country Code information is now used to obtain the date
format and date seperation characters to use.
The WRAPDESC statement now accepts an "additive offset"
modifier.
New config file option CENTERTITLE will cause the title for
each area to be centered.
Redesigned the top and bottom info boxes.
New mandatory config statement SYSOPNAME. This is the name
of the sysop of your system (normally, this would be =your=
name :-)). If you run schedules, this statement must be in
the GLOBAL section.
Renamed AVAILIST.EXE to AL.EXE.
Changed all of the default filenames from AVAILIST.??? to
AL.???. Namely: AL.CFG, AL.HDR and AL.EXI are now the defaults.
All of the internal archiver support is GONE. You now
specify your complete archival command line following the
'archive' config statement. ie: "archive lha m /mn".
Since you now specify your own archiver command line, the
'move' config statement has also been removed.
Completely rewrote the config file parser, it should be
faster.
New config statement LISTNAME tells AvaiList to look for
this filename in each directory, instead of files.bbs.
New config statement UUCP causes the output style to be
more Unix/UUCP like.
Removed the NoBigTitle config statement, area titles will
now always be presented exactly as specified.
The 'Extra Info' file is now included in the NewFile list,
as well as the Master list.
